New Moon in Capricorn: “Abundance and Stability through Chaos”

Last night under the new moon in Capricorn, I asked the Runes “What does healing look like during this cycle?” They gave instructions on how to walk through unknown territory and generate wealth, stability and legacy from chaos. This message applies to this moment, the upcoming lunar cycle and every year when we circle back to this conjunction between the Moon and Sun in the sign of Cardinal Earth.

We are entering uncharted domains. Nobody has been here before and nobody knows exactly what happens next.

In my last reading, for the full moon in Cancer, the Runes asked us to heal the relationship between the light and the dark, the seen and unseen. Now we are stepping into the great unknown. Perthro (bottom center) shows us we are now fully outside the parameter of what we knew and understood.

This is the moment just after the light goes out but before the eyes adjust to the dark - that liminal moment when you can’t see anything at all. What’s the best way to handle this moment of pure darkness? Pause. No sudden movements. No rash decisions. Ground down into the other senses - touch and sound. Rely on what you already know from experience, navigate based on your internal spatial awareness. Move with care.

Uruz (top left) “The Ox” encourages us to slow down and pay attention as we step into the dark. Tap into the senses as guidance. Trust the most immediate - what we can touch and smell and taste with our own bodies. Uruz also asks us to harness personal power and invest in ourselves relentlessly. Oxen have pure strength and determination - nothing can distract them from their goal. Reflecting Mars’ recent shift into Taurus, Uruz shows the power generated when we invest actively and repeatedly in what we care about.

Together The Ox and The Harvest signify the process of building wealth and generating abundance - the two opposing sides of the Venus creation process.

They show a full growing season - the seeds sown in Taurus season creating the harvest during Libra season. A direct relationship between investment and prosperity.

There’s a harmony created in their polarity - a generous masculinity paired with a discerning feminine. An equation for wealth building.

As a bindrune, they become a sigil for generating wealth out of chaos. The Unknown opens up space for both sides of the Venus principle to create together. Anything is possible.
